From the streets of Dublin to the cliffs of Donegal, from the mountains of Mayo to the rugged coastline of Kerry, this journey showcases Ireland at its most spectacular. Along the way we'll hike sacred peaks, explore ancient landscapes, discover vibrant cities, and experience the warmth of Irish hospitality that makes this island so unforgettable.
The adventure begins in the Emerald Isle! We’ll land in Dublin, a city with an incredible vibe where centuries of history blend perfectly with a super lively street atmosphere. After checking into our accommodation right in the heart of the capital, we’ll head out to make the absolute most of its iconic landmarks: from the legendary halls of Trinity College and the Book of Kells to the mythical Guinness Storehouse, where we’ll toast with our very first pint.
As night falls, we’ll gather for our welcome dinner, the perfect moment to break the ice, start getting to know our road-trip crew, and head out to enjoy the live music and unique energy that make Dublin one of the most welcoming cities in the world.
We leave the capital behind and head north along one of the most epic and spectacular coastal drives in all of Ireland. Today, rugged cliffs, crashing Atlantic waves, and two of the island’s most iconic landmarks await us.
First, we'll brave the heights and cross the famous Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, suspended high above the sea. Afterwards, we’ll continue to the mind-blowing Giant’s Causeway, a landscape of thousands of symmetrical basalt columns that looks straight out of another planet. By late afternoon, we’ll reach the historic and legendary walled city of Derry.
This morning, we’ll dive deep into Ireland’s recent history, exploring Derry’s famous murals and the historic Bogside district through a local lens. From there, we’ll venture into County Donegal, home to the wildest and most untouched landscapes in the country.
The highlight of the day will be a walk along the majestic Slieve League cliffs, which are among the highest in Europe. Rising vertically out of the Atlantic Ocean, these giant rock faces offer a sense of immensity and connection rarely found anywhere else.
We’ll spend the night soaking up the charm and lively atmosphere of Donegal Town.
Today, we head into County Mayo to tackle one of Ireland’s most famous mountains: Croagh Patrick. This peak has been drawing travelers and pilgrims for over fifteen centuries, and reaching the summit is one of the most rewarding and challenging trekking experiences of our trip. The climb is a bit demanding, but the reward at the top is next-level: an incredible panoramic view of Clew Bay and its countless islands scattered across the sea. Every single step will be worth it.
After the hike, we’ll wind down in the vibrant coastal town of Westport for a well-deserved evening of pure relaxation.
Our road trip continues through Connemara, a region of wild beauty defined by its mountains, lakes, and endless Atlantic horizons. We’ll drive along scenic routes that wind through postcard-perfect landscapes, making a must-see stop in the colorful and picturesque town of Clifden. From there, we head straight to Galway, a city world-famous for its artistic soul, creativity, and bohemian charm. We’ll have the evening free to dive into the local vibe and renowed food scene.
Today is all about experiencing Galway to the absolute fullest. We’ll kick off the morning with a guided kayak tour around Galway Bay, giving us a completely different perspective of the coastline. Afterwards, we’ll head back to the center to get lost in its medieval streets, colorful shopfronts, and historic corners.
With the afternoon free ahead of us, Galway is the perfect place to wander at our own pace, pick up some local crafts, or simply enjoy the live music filling the streets and pubs.
We cross into the province of Munster to meet one of Ireland’s most iconic natural wonders. The Cliffs of Moher rise vertically out of the Atlantic, stretching for miles along the western coast.
Walking the cliff paths offers unforgettable views of the ocean and surrounding landscape.
After taking in this magical moment, we’ll keep heading south until we reach Killarney, our base for exploring the beautiful County Kerry.
Today, one of the most famous and photogenic road-trip routes in all of Europe awaits us. The Ring of Kerry packs everything that makes Ireland magical into a single day: rugged coastlines, gorgeous mountain passes, fairy-tale villages, and endless views of the Atlantic Ocean. Throughout the day, we’ll be stopping at the most spectacular viewpoints to stretch our legs, snap epic photos, and discover the legends of a region that has captivated travelers for generations.
We say goodbye to Kerry and set our sights on Cork, Ireland’s trend-setting second city. Known as the country’s culinary capital, Cork perfectly blends rich history with a high-energy contemporary culture. We’ll visit the famous English Market, which offers a taste of the region's finest local products, and stroll through historic streets that showcase the city's unique, proud character.
Today, we’ll spend the day in Kinsale, one of the most picturesque harbor towns in Ireland. Its brightly colored streets, lively cafes, and rich maritime heritage make this coastal gem a favorite stop among locals and visitors alike. We’ll also explore Charles Fort, an incredibly well-preserved star-shaped fortress that guards the harbor entrance and offers fantastic views of the Atlantic coast. In the afternoon, we’ll head back to Cork, giving us another chance to enjoy the city’s evening atmosphere.
Our last full day takes us straight into the spectacular Wicklow Mountains, famously known as the "Garden of Ireland." In Glendalough, we’ll visit ancient monastic ruins nestled right in the heart of a stunning glacial valley, surrounded by dense forests and twin lakes. We’ll take the opportunity to walk along its trails and fully immerse ourselves in the landscape.
On the way back to Dublin, we’ll make a stop in the historic village of Avoca, famous for being home to Ireland's oldest working woollen mill.
Tonight, it’s time for our farewell dinner to celebrate the epic journey we’ve shared!
Depending on flight schedules, today is the ideal time for a stroll or some last-minute shopping along Dublin’s most famous shopping streets, like Grafton Street or Henry Street.
This adventure comes to an end, but we leave having traveled through the four provinces of Ireland and experiencing the island's most memorable landscapes. From epic mountain peaks and cinematic cliffs to cities alive with music, we’re heading home with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and the magical energy of the island to keep with us forever.
